Milwaukee Electronics’ Design Engineering Group supports the design and build of custom small volume tools. From an electronics manufacturing standpoint, this capability enhances our ability to support our customers’ niche requirements. In box build projects, custom tooling can reduce time while increasing repeatability. Whether it is a full mechatronic system or a small mechanical fixture, we can work with your team to design and fabricate the needed tooling quickly and cost effectively.

Located in Corvallis Oregon, our tool build group works with manufacturers and product developers at all phases of production. Our customers’ applications have ranged from simple PCBA functional test to complex and detailed characterization of experimental products. Many of our tools incorporate customer specific IP and test protocols to create truly unique solutions that cannot be found elsewhere. Our designs often require the use of custom electronic design or require custom control software. Our developers strive to create software platforms that provide a smooth user interface and easy path for future upgrades. We have strong relationships with fabricators and certification agents that enable these often one-off tools to be designed, built and certified on schedule and with minimal rework. Let Milwaukee Electronics translate your experiment into a reliable production tool.
